About Marcel

Victoria "Tori" Marcel was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Ursuline Academy High School and was in the top 10 of her graduating class. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA as an undergrad and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Biology minor. While at LSU, she was very involved on campus when not focusing on her studies. She was a founding member and President of her sorority, Alpha Phi, and a member of Leadership LSU. During her senior year, Tori was selected as a member of Tiger Twelve. This honor is awarded to 12 seniors who contribute positively to the life of the campus and surrounding community selected by LSU Dean of Students.

After her graduation from LSU, she moved back to New Orleans and worked as a Medical Assistant at The Hand Center of Louisiana. In May 2018, Tori started Physician Assistant School at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA and was elected as her class Vice President. She graduated with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree in August of 2020, receiving the Excellence in Research award upon graduation. Her research was focused on the nonpharmacological therapeutic interventions for low back pain.

Tori moved back home to southern Louisiana to start her Physician Assistant career. She started working at Crescent City Orthopedics in September of 2020. She is nationally certified, as well as licensed in the state of Louisiana. She has always loved orthopedics and is excited for her Physician Assistant career in Metairie, LA.
