Ben Schexnayder was born and raised in Baton Rouge, where he attended and graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He went on to pursue a career in medical device sales, where he assisted surgeons and operating room staff with the proper use and implementation of orthopedic products in the greater Baton Rouge area. 

With a lifelong interest in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, he took the steps to become a physician assistant. Ben is a recent graduate of the LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans physician assistant program. He is board-certified and works closely with Dr. Scott Buhler.
