Symptoms

• Pain in the groin or hip joint
• Clicking or locking sensation in the hip 
• Reduced range of motion and joint stiffness

Causes

• Repetitive stress on the hip joint
• Sudden injury or trauma to the hip
• Structural abnormalities in anatomy of the hip joint
